Accounting Software

There are many software packages available on the market today. The most popular and widely used are Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, Quicken, and MYOB (no longer available and supported in Canada). Our choice of software is Simply Accounting Basic version. We are Simply Accounting premiere advisors, but we can also help you set up other Accounting Software.

When this Method is Ideal

• Your business is a corporation
• Your business requires government remittances
• You need to keep track of numerous balance sheet items
• You prefer computerized Invoices with your Business Logo
• A number of employees (T4), subcontractors (T5018 for construction trades), and/or commissioned salespeople (T4A)

Pros

• Ideal, professional bookkeeping tool
• Keeps records of Balance Sheet items and their balances from year to year
• Can create many reports useful for analyzing your Business
• 5 - 10% discount for office needs (cheques, envelopes, etc.)

Cons

• High learning curve
• Computer and software costs
• Annual software update costs

• As this method varies very much from business to business, we do not have a basic outline. Please Click here for a consultation. This generally takes two hours initially, and three or more two hour follow up meetings to answer questions and verify accuracy of procedures.
